West Yorkshire Track Field League

3rd Fixture Wednesday 31st May 2023 at Spenborough AC

The third fixture of the league took place in the middle of the half-term holidays, so the numbers of participants were down. We still managed to turn out 13 athletes including 2 under 11 girls who were making their first appearance this season. The athletes managed to accumulate a good number of points for the club to maintain 5th position overall in the league. Individually, there were also a lot of PBs earned, especially amongst the younger athletes who are progressing nicely. Well done to all who competed, and we look forward to welcoming back more athletes at the next fixture. A thank you also to the officials from Holmfirth Harriers; John Buckingham and Diane Baldwin who gave up their time to help the event run smoothly.
