This is a gem with steep climbs, rough moor and fast paths, typifying all that’s best about South Pennine fell running. This race will take you to the parts of Tod that other races don’t reach.
A classic winter route over difficult high-level moorland terrain with the potential for severe weather conditions make this a serious winter challenge.
This race is a 6.5 mile fell race on boggy, rough moorland on the edge of the Pennines. Be prepared for the weather – whatever time of the year it is!!

The Three Peaks Fell Race traverses the famous Yorkshire Dales mountains of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and is one of the oldest, most famous and best organised fell races in Britain
The junior pike race is a scaled down version of the iconic Rivington Pike Fell Race with each age category making their way up the route to various turnaround points
This race is short, sharp, fast, and rough in parts visiting the prominent Blackstone Edge Trig point, Pennine Way and a Roman Old Road.

One of the oldest courses in the calendar – a clockwise route which means you go up the steep approach, via Nab Scar, and down the steady side over High & Low Pikes – An English Championship counter
The course takes in open moorland scenery, industrial heritage, and Pennine farmland all in a hour or so. It is mainly on flagged paths, tracks and trails with the challenge of going over the Pennines
The club 5 is a mass start handicapped event for club members. Handicapping means any member could win this race!

One of the longest mid-week races, Tebay hosted a round of the English Fell Running Championships in 2009 and 2017. It is classic Howgills terrain with plenty of good running on mostly runnable grass
The Eskdale Mixed Fell Relay is a challenging fell running team relay event held in the scenic Eskdale valley of the Lake District, hosted by Black Combe Runners.

The English Schools Fell Running Championship is held as a single event, often in October. It is sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Bridgedale Socks.
The 2025 event will be hosted by Sedbergh School.
In its second year, the bat-shaped route is an anticlockwise tour of the beautiful Hope Valley skyline surrounding the village of Bamford in the Peak District.
