With the conclusion of the 2024 series, thoughts turn to the Road Championship races for the 2025 Season.
The rules are the same. In brief, complete a minimum of six races of which three must be “short” and three must be “long”.
First Harrier back gets 25 points, second 23 points, third 21 points and so on so that all Harriers get points for competing.
There are three competitions; men, ladies and age graded.
With new races being added to the calendar all the time I wanted to give a much greater choice this year and will try to offer one long and one short race each month. I hope that this will encourage more members to take part and may see some new names on the leader board throughout the year.
I am still looking for events in the latter half of 2025, so rather than waiting for the full list for the year, here are the events for the first six months. July to December events will be selected and posted early in 2025. Full event details will be posted on the website over the coming days.
