2024 Road Championship
The Sheffield 10k was held on 29 September. Six harriers made the trip south and their results are:

There were two relay races in September, The Cross Keys over in Saddleworth and the Northern Road Relays which this year was held in Blackpool. The Cross Keys is a great local event comprising two road and two fell legs for each team. This year we entered seven teams in Mens, Womens, Vets and Mixed categories and the results are:

Congratulations to all our runners, particularly the Young Ones (really ?) who came 2nd overall and 2nd in their category; the ladies who won their category; the mens vets A team who won theirs; the ladies vets team who won theirs and the mixed who came third in their category. An excellent morning’s work.
The other relay was the Northerns, held in Blackpool on 21 September. This is a prestigious event attracting top runners from across the region (there were 120 mens teams of six runners and 72 ladies teams of four runners to give an idea of the size of the event). The Holmfirth teams ran very well against strong opposition.
