Last Sunday 25th April, saw the sun shine once more on the Holmfirth Junior Duathlon. 180 Juniors from Yorkshire clubs and some from further a field descended on the Brooksbank school cycle track for the first race of the season.
17 Holmfirth Harriers took part including 10 in the very competitive 9-10 year old age group. With no presentation allowed, Ewan Plumb missed out on the second step of the podium, and the individual start times hid the fact that he was
only 1 second behind the group winner. Brodie Stewart took 4th place in the same group.
Well done to all the athletes and a grateful thank you to all their parents who helped set up and marshal the event.
