A turnout of 33 Harriers saw the restart of Club road racing with the Club 6 taking place at Farnley Tyas on Sunday 2nd May. A sunny, if cool, morning made for ideal running conditions.
The race forms part of the Club Road Championship and is the first event of the 2021 programme (next event is the Penistone ParkRun on 5th June).
This is a handicap race so, if the handicappers get it spot on, everyone should cross the line together – if only!! A thankless task!!
Great support out on the course from marshalls and spectators and our thanks go to all the marshalls, timekeepers, tail cyclist, handicappers and, of course, Roger who undertook a multitude of duties on the day.

Top 3 ladies were Helena Croft, Julia Thomas and Lucy Farquhar
Top 3 men were Alexander Hannay, Michael Sanderson and David Williams
