Well… entries closed for our first ever race photo competition on Sunday at midnight. It’s time to announce the results. The volunteer web editors were then busy selecting the best ten. These were numbered, and the winner selected at random.
There were some great photos posted on the wall. These were a mix of great photography, fun shots, silly shots, action shots, team shots and just plain funny shots. We had cross country, marathons, road races, junior events, track and field and fell running (I think that’s all!!) Thanks to everyone who entered – it’s been great to celebrate participation right across our fantastic diverse club.
The winner is Tracey Newman. The winning photo can be seen here. She will receive a voucher from O’Brien’s Beer Cafe. Well done Tracey – a great year of racing too.
The good news for everyone else is… we’re going to be holding this competition on a more regular basis so there will be more chances to win throughout 2023. So get into a regular habit of popping your race photos onto the wall please.
