Saturday’s parkrun was the latest race in the 2026 road championships, back after a successful and popular addition to the list last year.
752 runners completed the 5k, two-and-a-bit lap course around Greenhead Park in Huddersfield on a warm and bright morning. The race was won by Luc Burnip from Stadium runners in 15:41 and a new parkrun PB for him. Close on his heels though with a new PB himself was Ben Jarvis in a time of 16:00. PBs also for Archie Potts and Heidi O’Shea.
