This race has a tough but enjoyable 2 lap course starting and finishing at Howarth Cricket Club, where refreshments and toilets are available. The race incorporates the YVAA 5 mile Championships for which all Holmfirth Harriers over 35 are eligable. YVAA trophies are awarded in 5 year age categories for both men and women, as well as prizes for the open race.
