A run with a difference, a run supporting Wakefield's Hospice!

The Wakefield Hospice 10K returns on Sunday 22nd March 2026, starting at 09:00. One of the region’s most loved community running events, this award-winning race brings runners together each spring to raise vital funds for Wakefield Hospice.

A former winner of the Challenge Awards Best 10K in the North, this popular race is perfect for all abilities – whether you’re chasing a new PB with the help of our official pacers (40 to 75 minutes), running in memory of a loved one, or simply soaking up the incredible atmosphere.

With prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers, plus age category awards from V35 to V70+, there’s plenty of opportunity to celebrate achievement. Every finisher will also receive a bespoke Wakefield Hospice t-shirt.

Refunds are available up to 28 days before the event. After this period, we’re unable to process refunds. You can transfer your place to another runner up to 14 days before the event, making it easy to pass it on if you can’t attend.
