The Saturday morning athletics club which was initially a six week club in the run up to the 2012 Olympics in London has now been going for over 11 years.
The club is held on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12:00midday at Neiley Playing Fields, New Mill Road, Honley
This is aimed at young school children from age 6 to 12 to introduce them to all types of athletics and they will be coached by fully qualified UK Athletics Coaches.
The aim is to have FUN and ENJOY learning new skills each Saturday with emphasis on Agility, Balance and Co-ordination. Ideal for new and experienced young athletes.
This Summer it will run every Saturday for fourteen weeks from Saturday 7th of September 2024 to Saturday 7th of December 2024
Cost is £2.50 per session or £28 for all fourteen
Each child will work towards awards and receive a medal
