A social event for absolutely everyone.
We’re excited to announce the return of the popular Holmfirth Harriers Quiz Night — a relaxed, pub-style quiz designed to bring the club together for a fun and informal evening.
This is not a serious quiz and absolutely not one for the ultra-competitive only. Think laughs, surprises, a bit of friendly banter, and a chance to catch up with clubmates you might not normally train with.
Everyone connected to Holmfirth Harriers is welcome:
Runners from all training groups and abilities
New members and long-standing members alike
Friends, partners, and non-running pals are very welcome too
You don’t need to form a team in advance — just turn up and we’ll sort teams on the night. Coming on your own is absolutely fine.
The quiz will be running-themed but accessible to everyone, even if you don’t know your split times from your shoe stacks.
Planned rounds include a crazy mix of rounds including pub quiz classics - topics from the running world and much further beyond!
Expect a mix of easy wins, head-scratchers, some trivia, and a few laughs along the way.
O’Briens will be open as usual, so you’ll be able to grab drinks at the bar throughout the evening. It’s very much a social night first, quiz second.
