Add to Calendar August 2, 2021 13:37 Holmfirth Harriers Event:

This is a great little event based in Rossendale, Lancashire, running from Stubbylee Hall OL13 0DE.

Teams are made up of four, men, ladies or mixed.
The relay event starts in the Lee Mill Quarry site, for teams of four runners. All four runners will run individual over a 10.7k flagged course.
Clubs can enter teams, but do not have to declare the individual runners till nearer race date.
The course is over a hard and demanding route, possibly run in wintery conditions, so full kit including full waterproof bodycover, hat, gloves, compass and whistle must be carried. Stringent kit check will be made to all competitors. A map of the course will be provided on registering. The course is flagged so provided conditions are clear navigation is not normally a problem but like any fell race if the clag is down you still need to be able to navigate! Conditions are frequently very wet underfoot and energy sapping but should be within the capability of most of our runners. Talk to Phil Hobbs or Jean Shotter for more details if you are interested or just not sure if you could do it.

Fell relays, normally held in July
