Part of the Junior Winter Championship.
The race is run from Neiley playing field, on a training night, after the clocks change at the end of March.

The race is handicapped - so anyone can win!!
The athletes are required to run to a number of points on the playing field, before the Under 11’s go into the woods and run up the track to a Marshall who is at their furthest point, and then return to the start/finish the way they came.
The Under 13’s run a similar route, but then carry on up through the woods to the railway bridge and back.
The Over 13’s carry on over the railway bridge and follow the footpath to where it meets Gynn Lane and then turn around and retrace their steps to the finish.
This event is handicapped, so anyone can win. Get training juniors! You will also be racing in age categories, so you've got even more of a chance to win.
Under 11 - school year 5 and below
Under 13 - school years 6 and 7
Over 13 - school years 8 and above
The race winner, after the handicap is taken into account, will receive a trophy and a medal. The 2nd and 3rd in the race, plus the runner who records the fastest time, also receive medals.
