Details:

The Joe Percy Invitational is back.  After a break in 2025, the local classic is being run again this year and gives runners in Huddersfield district the opportunity to meet and compete with old friends across the area.  It is a team event so the more runners we have, the more chance we have of taking home one of the prizes.

This is held from Storthes Hall Park, just a few miles from Neiley and is open to anyone in the club. The fastest 10 men qualify for team A, then next 10 for team B etc. Ladies teams work the same.  This is run over very familiar roads for us. Get it in your diary...

Facilities
The Bar will be open.
Food will be provided for all runners, with a vegetarian option too.
Toilets are available on site. No showers but changing facilities will be available
Parking
Car parking is available on-site and will be sign posted. Please car share where possible and park
considerately. This year parking will be on the fields surrounding the Shelley FC site, please listen to our car park marshals and when leaving please be careful of runners still finishing.
Route
If you can run 10k (6.2 miles) on a training night then you can enter this competition and represent Harriers at this local and prestigious event.
The start and finish are close to the HQ but still a 5 minute walk so please make sure you arrive on time. The organisers have pushed the start time to 7.30pm this year due to traffic issues last year.
Results
Live timing of the event will be provided, and online results will be displayed at www.timemyrace.co.uk
Presentation
The three team prizes and winners' trophies for Men's and Ladies Teams will be presented as soon as possible after the race, either inside the Stafflex arena if the weather is bad, or outside the bar area if weather is great. Please ensure your team are aware that we provide catering (for competitors and volunteers only) at the Venue prior to the presentation.
