Induction sessions occurred, pre pandemic, twice monthly. One on a Tuesday and one on a Thursday, before the normal training took place. These started at 6.15 pm and gave an introduction to the club, what the club could provide for members and what we expected members to do for the club. Where possible we like prospective new members to attend an Induction session (Juniors attend with parents) before they come down to train, however knowing how keen people are to get started we do allow you to come and have your 3 free training sessions before you complete your Induction session and join the club.
Obviously at the moment we can't offer group inductions and are dealing with enquiries on a 1 to 1 basis, sending out the 6 page induction booklet we give out at inductions, we continue to offer the tasters but do insist on every person filling in a Covid disclaimer on our first physical contact.
Those wishing to come down and try out the club at the moment should first contact the Membership Secretaries or Club President (see Officials page on website) to discuss your present running experience and arrange a time to meet at the club on a training night.
