Leeds' most popular 10 mile road race!
The Hollybank Eccup 10 is back this year in collaboration with with our charitable partner, Hollybank Trust. The course takes in rural closed roads and a scenic route around Eccup reservoir making this Leeds most popular 10 mile road race and a sell out most years.
Abbey Runners will be making a donation to both Hollybank Trust and the club's nominated 2024 charity Women's Health Matters (a Leeds based charity that champions freedom for disadvantaged women and girls) from the race proceeds and you can also support either or both by making an additional donation with your entry.
When you enter, you can also choose whether to receive a T-Shirt memento or have a tree planted on your behalf instead. Last year we raised over £800 to plant trees around Leeds.
We have a generous prize policy, with prizes for both men and women for the first 3 overall, V35 and V40. The first two V45,V50 and V55, and the first V60, V65, V70 and V75 ect. We also have a team prize (first 3 club members) for both male and female teams. There is also £100 on offer for breaking either the men or womens course records: The men’s record is held by Yared Hagos, 51.18, (Bradford Airedale), set in 2011 The women’s record is held by Tracey Morris, 56.26, (Valley Striders), set in 2007
