A reminder that the Denis Stitt Memorial fell race takes place on Thursday 8th of August.
7.15pm start from Cartworth Moor Cricket Club. £5 cash only on the night. Over 16’s.
6k 2 lap course, well marked and marshalled. Usual abundance of prizes in all categories, including first 3 men’s and womens teams.
We usually have a great club turnout for the race and generally bag a lot of the prizes. I hope we can do the same this year.
The cricket club has a bar and will also have hot drinks. They will also do their usual chilli for a small fee.
Of course, for the race to go ahead I will need marshall’s etc. I have a timekeeper so far. Entries, Recorders, Marshall’s (about a dozen). Results. A few other general helpers. I look forward to a flood of volunteers.
