We are sad to announce the death of Jane Kaye on Thursday 5th March 2026, her 62nd birthday. She died at Christie’s hospital, Manchester, after a long illness.
Jane had been a member of Holmfirth Harriers for over 20 years. She initially joined with her son Max and husband Russ and was often seen at cross country races and Track & Field meetings supporting Max and other Harriers.
Jane continued her membership after Max left for University and, whilst Russ was busy coaching the juniors, she was an active member of the Pumas group, where she made some very good friends; Judy, Lorraine, Anne and Helen supported her throughout her illness.
We extend our condolences to Russ, Max and family.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 1st April at 2pm at Huddersfield Crematorium.
