Yesterday (Tuesday 12 August) we held the penultimate 2025 summer series 5k race around Magdale. 20 runners braved the heat and it was great to welcome back some runners from last year as well as at least one brand new competitor.
It was good to see Helen H and John B down to support what was a very warm evening.
Well done to everyone taking part. It would be good to get a larger turnout for the final race of the season on Tuesday 16 September and if you usually run with a group on 5k night, why not use this as part of the training. Warm up to the start, run the 5k then cool down over a longer route back to the club. Tell your friends !
