The 4th race in this years Summer 5k Series was held earlier today (14th July) from Magdale as usual. Thanks to Chris B for helping with the set-up tonight and after a two month absence, Kevin was back in charge of the stopwatch.
18 runners took part with the fastest timed run on the night being Robert Booth on 21:17. Curtis Firth joined the race late and made up good time and his estimated time was between 21:00 and 22:00 minutes. Several runners are taking part in the Joe Percy 10k team event tomorrow and so were taking it easier tonight. Or so they say…. Some good times were had nevertheless and it will be good to see everyone going head to head for real next month. It was good to see Helen and Simon along to support too.
The full list of results and start times for Race 5 on 11th August are here.
Thank you all for coming along and have a great month. See you in August.
