Yesterday (Tuesday 16 August) we held the final 2025 summer series 5k race around Magdale in what has been described as “the gloaming”. 29 runners braved the mozzies, the dampness and darkness to complete the two lap course for the last time this year.
As the photo shows, it was dark once everyone had crossed the line.
Thank you to Roger and Simon who came along to lend their support even though they were not running. It was also good to see some first timers and some who had only attended the club induction earlier in the evening.
Well done to everyone taking part both on the night and throughout the series. Thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you all again next April for the 2026 event !
