Northern Athletics Road Relay Championships

Saturday 19th September 2015, Stanley Park, Blackpool

Last weekend Holmfirth Harriers sent three teams over to Blackpool to compete in the Northern Athletics Road Relays.  The event is held over 6 stages of approx 6k for men and 4 stages of 5.2k for women.

There were just over 100 teams contesting the Men’s Championships and 62 teams in the women’s, which included some of the best talent in the North of England.  The weather was kind, which also meant that a lot of locals were out enjoying Stanley Park, causing a few hazards for runners!
