Holmfirth Harriers
is a friendly club with over 500 active members. Holmfirth Harriers caters for athletes
of all ages, gender and ability. Holmfirth Harriers has enjoyed success at both
county and national levels. Regardless of your choice of running,
be it road, fell, X-country or track there is a group of athletes
to train with. Holmfirth Harriers club headquarters are at the Neiley Pavillion
(a newly purpose built clubhouse with lottery grant assistance):

Harriers meet
on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. Every-one welcome.
At Holmfirth Harriers we have groups for different abilities:
Wolves can run 6, 8 or 10 miles and are the fastest group.
Jackals can run 6, 8 or 10 miles.
Tigers run 5/6 miles.
Pumas run 3/4 miles.
Detailed routes are on members page.
Children must be accompanied by an adult on runs.

Holmfirth Harriers receive 'National Sports Club of the Year'.

Club of Year for Innovation to Holmfirth Harriers presented by Dave Collins to John McFadzean.

The photograph above shows Phil McGennity and Tim Cock with the club mark certificate which had just been presented to them by George Bunner chairman of the Amateur Athletic Association. We were one of only 37 out of 1400 clubs in the UK to obtain this award.
