The First Holme Moss Duathlon 2011

 

Sunday 10th April 2011 @ 09 am

A tough hilly duathlon, but, weather permitting, with fantastic views of the Holme Valley (Last of the Summer Wine Country).

 

Comprising: 10.5 km run (with 230m climbing)

40 km ride (with 620m climbing)

4.5 km run (with 120m climbing)

 

Based from Neiley Pavilion, New Mill Road, Honley, Holmfirth HD9 6QB

 

The 1st run: Up to the Historic Victoria Tower on Castle Hill and through the village of Farnley Tyas. No part of the run is flat!

The ride: Taking in the iconic Holme Moss (the hard way up) before returning through Dunford Bridge. Not a Time Trial Course!
